Wendeen Eolis is an honors graduate of New York University (B.A. 1967, Chester H. Lane award), a certified personnel consultant (NY, 1974), and a certified arbitrator (NAPC, 1976). She is conversant in French and Spanish. A long time leader in the personnel services industry, Ms. Eolis was the founder and first president of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants. She was a recipient of the NALSC's Distinguished Service Award as well as APCNY's Industry Service Award for lifetime achievement.
In the mid-70's while president of APCNY, the statewide personnel trade association, Ms. Eolis was credited as the leading force in overhauling New York State's employment agency statute. Twenty years later she returned to the state's legislative corridors as Governor Pataki's senior adviser in private sector and tribal gaming matters.
